The BBC today released the first-look images of BBC One’s epic new event drama War And Peace, adapted by Andrew Davies.
They reveal Paul Dano as Pierre, Lily James as Natasha and James Norton as Andrei. The six-part series is directed by Tom Harper, and will air this northern winter (or southern summer) on BBC One, available to stream on the free BBC iPlayer.
War and Peace is made by BBC Cymru Wales Drama, in partnership with The Weinstein Company and BBC Worldwide/Lookout Point. Filming took place in Russia, Lithuania and Latvia.
